Saptdhanyankurark: Tonic for plants made from seven sprouted grains
Saptdhanyankurark is a tonic for the plants. Using this during fruiting (production) period increases the quality of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The solution can be prepared in-house by the farmers.
Ingredients
- Water( 200litres of water)
- Cow urine10% of the water i.e.100ml per litre of water
- Black Sesame(Sesamum indicum-til)
- Greengram(Vigna radiata-moong)
- Blackgram(Vigna mungo-Urad)
- Cowpea(Vigna unguiculata-chawli)
- Mothbeans(Vigna aconitifolia-matki/naripayaru)
- Chickpea(Cicer arietinum-harbara)
- Wheat (Triticum aestivum - gehu)
Preparation
Step1:
Soakblacksesameseedsinwaterinabowl.Keepitasidefor1day.After
24hoursproceedto thenextstep.
Step2:
Soak the seeds of blackgram, greengram, cowpea, mothbean, chickpea and wheat in water in a separate bowl.
Soak it for 24hours. After 24 hours proceed to next step.
Step3:
The next day, take all seven types of seeds out of water. Tie the seeds to a cloth and hang them in the shade. Keep the drained out water separately. The seeds are hanged till they sprout with at least 1 cm of root.
Step4:
After the seeds have sprouted, crush them using a wooden mantle. Do not use a mixer grinder.
Step5:
Take water and pour cow urine into it. Pour the water that was used to soak the seed and mix it. Put the seed pulp in the solution and mix it properly. Use a wooden stick for stirring the solution. Cover the tank with a gunny bag. Keep the solution for 2 hours.
Step6:
After 2 hours, filter the solution and use it within the next 24 hours.

Usage:
Thesolutionshouldbesprayedontheplantsasafoliarspray.Donotmixwaterinthesolutionusethesolutionasis.
- Spray on the vegetable crops(kharif or rabi) when the vegetables are in
milkingstage. - Spray on fruit trees when the fruits are small, medium or before they mature.
- When the fruitpods are small.
- In flowercrops when the flowers are in budding stage.
